ZKAccess, a division of ZKTeco and a provider of biometric and RFID security solutions, has introduced the LR-UHF-12, an outdoor IP66-rated long-range 125 kHz proximity card reader designed specifically for ZKAccess cards and stickers.

LR-UHF-12 features

Capable of up to a 40 feet read-range, the LR-UHF-12 provides users convenient RFID authentication for many applications including door access, vehicular gate access and any application in which the user no longer needs to have their RFID credential held in close range to the RFID reader. It is equipped with a built-in Wiegand-Out port which can be connected to most any access control panel (including ZKAccess C3 and InBio door controllers).

"The LR-UHF-12 offers users increased convenience because it allows them to open doors and parking gates from their vehicle without having to open their window or stop," notes Larry Reed, CEO, ZKAccess. "This new reader is ideal for both residential communities as well as businesses that want to combine gate, parking, and door access control on a single card credential."
