The 24 camera models in the new Wisenet Q series are packed with innovative features such as H.265 compression and WiseStream technology, a complementary compression technology which dynamically controls encoding, balancing quality and compression as per to movement in the image. When WiseStream is combined with H.265 compression, bandwidth efficiency can be improved by up to 75% compared to current H.264 technology

WiseStream technology

When WiseStream is combined with H.265 compression, bandwidth efficiency can be improved by up to 75% compared to current H.264 technology. This ensures that Hanwha Techwin Europe’s new Wisenet Q series is one of the most bandwidth friendly camera ranges available.

Despite being keenly priced, there has been no compromise on build quality or feature sets of the 24 Wisenet Q cameras and domes. Even IR illumination is provided as standard. The cameras also feature True Wide Dynamic Range, Defocus Detection, Hallway View and Lens Distortion Correction

Wisenet Q Full HD cameras

Available in 2MP and 4MP Full HD versions, the cameras also feature True Wide Dynamic Range, Defocus Detection, Hallway View and Lens Distortion Correction, to deliver optimised images in every situation.

  • Defocus Detection available on all models recognises when a camera is out of focus. The focus of Wisenet Q 4MP models equipped with a varifocal lens can also be adjusted over the network to reduce installation time.
  • Hallway View provides a highly effective way to monitor narrow vertical areas such as corridors, tunnels and aisles. It enables cameras which can generate images in the 9:16 x 3:4 aspect ratio, to work effectively in tall and narrow spaces, with the added bonus of minimising bandwidth and video storage requirements.
  • Lens Distortion Correction (LDC) compensates for the image distortion that can occur with wide angle lenses.

Motion detection

Motion and tamper detection, PoE/DC dual power and on-board edge-based storage options, including NAS or 128GB micro SD, SDHC and SDXC, all add to flexibility and user-friendliness of the WiseNet Q series of cameras and domes which have collectively been designed to provide a competitively priced video surveillance for banks, retail, offices, transport and a wide range of other applications.
