Incident management event summary
Managing an incident has changed over the years; and we have come a long way from handheld radios that relay information back and forth to incorporating numerous data points that enhance situational awareness for all stakeholders. During an emergency, real-time information is crucial to bringing the needs of those affected in line with the ability of first responders to gain a full picture of events that are unfolding.
With more information, first responders and organisational leaders can make better decisions with a more effective response, using camera feeds, maps providing real-time situational awareness and communication mechanisms from those being directly affected by an incident. During this event, panelists will discuss how today's incident management and response is growing and changing to include numerous stakeholders at every given point, and best practices for handling critical information and how that data is gathered to help create a full picture of unfolding events.
Breakfast will be provided. Limited space is available and RSVP is required.
