Highlights

Here are three highlights to be presented by VIVOTEK at Intersec 2017:

  • Advanced Transportation Solutions: VIVOTEK proudly introduces a network camera series and an industrial PoE switch all equipped with M12 connection and EN50155 standard compliance for railway systems. The comprehensive IP surveillance system for train-based applications is designed to guarantee the safety of both passengers and staff. Integrated with IP67-rated rugged design, the shockproof, dustproof, waterproof and temperature resistant MD8563-EH maintains stable and reliable video output during movement. Moreover, the MD8563-EH features WDR Pro to provide improved visibility in high-contrast lighting environments, such as at the entrance of train-cars. For carriage interiors, the 5-megapixel fisheye fixed dome network camera, FE8181V delivers 360° surround view without blind spots. The series also includes the AW-IHT-0602, an industrial EN50155 M12 PoE switch that implements M12 connection design to allow users to deploy IP surveillance throughout a range of transportation applications.
  • Supreme City Surveillance Solutions: Fully aware of the growing importance of city surveillance to ensure public safety as well as overall efficiency, VIVOTEK presents the ideal solution for urban surveillance. The SD9364-EH, a professional H.265 IR speed dome camera, is equipped with VAIR (Vari-Angle IR) technology, featuring 250 meters IR illuminators to maintain superb image quality and illumination in the most challenging environments. The outdoor-ready weather-proof IP66-rated and vandal-proof IK10-rated housing cabinet and power supply also ensure full protection against unfavourable climates as well as vandalism, making this series the perfect choice for any exposed outdoor application. Also, to be presented is the MS8391-EV, featuring four 3-megapixel CMOS sensors with 180-degree panoramic views, and built-in IR illuminators effective up to 30 meters to secure superior image quality around the clock. VIVOTEK will also launch the CD8371-HNVF2, the latest 3-megapixal vandal-proof IR corner dome network camera specifically designed for the upper corner of confined spaces and for capturing fine detail in high security environments. Equipped with invisible 940nm IR illuminators, which makes intruders unaware of their image is being captured in the darkness. Moreover, the camera is also armed with weather-proof IP66 rated and vandal-proof IK10+ rated housing, taking city surveillance to next level.
  • Intelligent Retail Solutions: VIVOTEK caters for retail customers with complete solutions from people-counting cameras to business-wise POS integration and heat map technology for monitoring consumer behaviours. Enhancing these strengths is VIVOTEK’s partnership with Gulfcoast Software Solutions that ingeniously assists shop owners by combining POS gateway and the latest video management software VAST 2 to maximise operational efficiency.

Gabriel Yang, Operations Director of VIVOTEK Middle East Office, says, "With our dynamic solutions and ongoing effort working in the Middle East region, we anticipate significant increase in this growing market.
