The integration with the Vidsys software platform creates enhanced capabilities for our customers

The alliance will offer an integrated solution between SecurOS video analytics management and Vidsys real-time situation management

Vidsys, a Converged Security and Information Management (CSIM) software platform, and Intelligent Security Systems (ISS), a global leader in IP video surveillance, video analytics, facial recognition, and license plate recognition, recently announced a technology partnership. This alliance will offer an integrated solution between SecurOS video analytics management and Vidsys real-time situation management for large scale enterprise users.

Improved interoperability

Suranjan Ray, ISS VP of Strategic Alliances, notes, “Our integration with the Vidsys software platform creates enhanced capabilities for our customers. The improved interoperability and situation management, this partnership creates, will enable our customers reduce risk and operational costs.

Vidsys VP of Strategic Innovation Maurice Singleton said, “We are pleased to announce this strategic partnership with ISS. Our combined product offering will enhance the user experience and will be a scalable force multiplier for clients with a broad base of assets to monitor.”

Five core areas of functionality

Vidsys CSIM software enhances security for organisations with a large physical footprint by geospatially aligning information for responders into a single unified view. The software features five core areas of functionality; collecting, analysing, verifying, resolving and tracking information which helps manage risk for both daily and emergency situations, in real-time.

The Vidsys integration with ISS presents a new level of functionality to deployments for both companies’ partners. The enterprise VMS, with over 100,000 deployments worldwide, and native analytics allows for a much more proactive security solution deployment, and the ability of Vidsys to provide greater situational awareness provides ISS deployments a higher level of security operations and management.
