The Yas Marina Circuit has renewed their choice for VDG Sense as video management system and Atlas Dynamic as provider of its video security for the upcoming final GP race and other events in the following year.

The Yas Marina Circuit is home to the annual final race of the GP. As the region’s most technologically advanced facility, the circuit is also a leading experience venue, regularly hosting a diverse range of corporate meetings, conferences and events.

Video security management

Since the first GP race in 2009, the Yas Marina Circuit has chosen the video management solutions of VDG Security to manage the over 900 video channels throughout the circuit and event location. Events require state-of-the-art video security to ensure the safety and security of the visitors. Through the nearly one thousand cameras, video data is stored and analysed real time through the video management system VDG Sense.

Timme Grijpink, Managing Director of VDG Security: “We are honoured that we are able to contribute to the safety of the visitors, staff and drivers during events on Yas Marina Circuit. Yas Marina is a magnificent circuit with state-of-the-art technology, and we are happy to be part of it.”

The provider of the complete video security system for this project is local integration partner Atlas Dynamic. CEO Mohamed Al Mutawa is thrilled about the project: “Excellent security at a site like this goes without question, especially during such a prestigious event as the GP race. We are committed to deliver not only top quality products, but also tailor-made solutions and full support to ensure that the highest level of security can be provided.”
