Visual display experts Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) have agreed a deal which adds Barco to the portfolio of key manufacturers it works with. The move follows a series of control room projects where UVS has used Barco LCD display technology alongside its own Lucidity video wall controllers. These projects include a process control application and two prestigious high security control room projects.

UVS has also just installed Barco’s unique and high-end Unisee video wall display technology in its northern HQ and demonstration facility and undergone detailed training on the product. This will be one of only a small number of locations to view Unisee in the UK and the only one in a control room environment. UVS Managing Director Steve Murphy said, “UVS remains manufacturer agnostic in order to provide clients with the absolute optimum solution to meet specific video wall requirements and we are continuing to work with a range of key manufacturers on that basis.

Electronic turnkey solutions

UVS has always had a healthy respect for Barco and its technology as a competitor"

Steve adds, “We want to offer an expanded range of products and services and remain at the forefront of providing turnkey solutions for all types of audio visual and visual display applications, so the new relationship with Barco is something we are delighted to have agreed.

Until becoming manufacturer independent, UVS always had a healthy respect for Barco and its technology as a competitor and it has been a pleasure to get to know the people there and to be able to offer its high end technology as part of our portfolio.

Highly specialist control room system integrators

Barco see UVS as one of the few highly specialist control room system integrators in the UK and has made it a Gold Partner, the highest level it offers,  which demonstrates that UVS has invested in becoming experts in Barco products and adds value through service and installation.

Barco’s UK sales manager for control rooms, Andrew Dowsett said, “We are delighted to have now partnered with UVS. They have a wealth or specialist knowledge and experience in control rooms and professional audio visual solutions. They are real experts in their field. We look forward to working with them to provide their clients with cutting edge solutions that enable bright outcomes.

Combined Audio Visual, Control Room Solutions

UVS, formerly eyevis UK, is based at Business First Burnley Business Centre and provides video wall displays and audio visual solutions to a range of clients across the UK.

It is led by four senior colleagues who, between them, have more than 70 years’ combined Audio Visual, Control Room and Visual Solutions experience. It has also opened a new London demonstration venue at Woburn Place, a short walk from Euston Station, to cope with increased demand for its technology.
