This latest integration compliments the existing range of AC2000 video, perimeter, fire and intrusion integrations
The CEM AC2000 integration with Aperio® Wireless Locking Technology provides a way to add the flexibility of wireless locks to any door in an AC2000 secured facility

Tyco Security Products have announced that the latest version of AC2000 access control and security management software from CEM Systems is integrated to ASSA ABLOY Aperio® wireless locking technology.

The CEM AC2000 integration with ASSA ABLOY Aperio® Wireless Locking Technology provides customers with a convenient way to add the flexibility of wireless locks to any door in an AC2000 secured facility.  The wireless locks can be added seamlessly to any AC2000 v7.1 access control secured site, allowing for the use of existing access cards. The Aperio® locks are also managed through the AC2000 security management system, enabling the remote monitoring of alarms and remote door opening.

Range of applications

When used with AC2000 access control, the Aperio® wireless locks are ideal in a range of sites including hospitals, universities, data centres, or at any door where access control has previously been viewed as too costly.

AC2000 is a fully integrated security management system that is designed with the customer in mind, providing flexible solutions that help increase security and improve operational effectiveness,” said Richard Fletcher, Product Manager, CEM Systems. “This integration builds on that and provides our customers with a cost effective and convenient way to integrate wireless locks into their existing AC2000 secured site.

This latest integration compliments the existing range of AC2000 video, perimeter, fire and intrusion integrations, making AC2000 a powerful access control and security management system.
