Suprema, a provider of biometrics and security technology, announced that the company will introduce the industry’s newest, most advanced iteration of the Suprema’s biometric access control solution at Security Essen 2016.

BioEntry W2 fingerprint access control device

At the show, visitors to Suprema stand will experience the company’s newly-launching BioEntry W2, powerful outdoor fingerprint access control device. The BioEntry W2 provides class-leading performance and security by featuring Suprema’s latest fingerprint algorithm coupled by powerful quad-core CPU and LFD (live fingerprint detection) technology.

Packed in a rugged IP67/IK08 housing, the device provides best-in-class matching performance (150,000 match/sec), and dual-band multi RFID reading technology supporting most types of RFID card standards with a single device including MIFARE, HID iCLASS, DESFire, FeliCa, HID Prox, EM and NFC.

Along with BioEntry W2, Suprema’s 2nd generation fingerprint devices, including BioStation A2 and BioStation L2, feature industry’s most secure anti-spoofing live fingerprint detection(LFD) technology. Suprema’s patented live fingerprint detection technology well blends its advancements of image analysis techniques and optical engineering to effectively eliminate possible fraud using various fake fingerprint materials including clay, rubber, silicon, paper and film.

BioStar TA with time and attendance functionalities

Suprema will also showcase BioStar TA, the latest version of BioStar 2 security platform with a major update in Time & Attendance features. While previous version’s major focus was set on providing access control features and development support for integrators, BioStar TA is to provide comprehensive time and attendance functionalities to BioStar 2. Combined with user-convenient features such as pay code, time card, calendar view and overtime rule, BioStar 2 TA simplifies complicated time and attendance management by offering flexibility for diverse applications.

“As a leading innovator of biometrics-driven security solutions, Suprema aimed to deliver class-leading, and the most versatile solution to the market. We are excited to introduce our latest innovation at Security Essen 2016, and visitors to the show can experience industry’s most advanced biometrics devices, open-platform solutions that will benefit end-users as well as installers and integrators.” said Young S. Moon, Vice President at Suprema.
