Sielox LLC, a provider of integrated access control solutions and lockdown systems, is featuring its latest solutions at ISC West 2018 (booth #7103), April 11-13 at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.

A new First-to-Market integration with Allegion will enable Sielox to help improve perimeter security in the K-12 market by integrating with the Von Duprin Remote Undogging (RU) and Remote Monitoring (RM) options. Using Pinnacle, Sielox’s premier access control and security management software, end users in the K-12 market are able to initiate remote undogging from a secure location, reducing the time and risks associated with manually touring a facility.

Also being displayed at the Sielox booth are product offerings that provide business facilities and the K-12 market with a Layered Access Control Approach to Security. These solutions include:

  • AnyWare Browser-Based Access Control Platform which is faster, easier to use and more scalable than ever before for small to mid-sized businesses.
  • CLASS (Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System) Emergency Notification and Lockdown Solution designed for the K-12 market.
  • Pinnacle Advanced Access Control Solution, Sielox’s premiere access control and security management software.
  • The 1700 Intelligent Controller that fully integrates with Schlage AD, NDE and LE wireless locks, which features a new Lock Toggle function that allows users to lock and unlock doors without a second credential to override pre-set schedules. The Sielox integrations of both the Schlage NDE and LE wireless locks were first-to-market.

Our layered approach takes into account the complexity of securing different types of facilities and organisations,” said Karen Evans, CEO and President, Sielox. “There is no one solution that can fully cover every location, incident or environment.

Cybersecurity enabled Conekt mobile readers

Mobility is on display in the Sielox booth with the demonstration of Conekt mobile credentials and readers from Farpointe Data. The mobile reader will work with the Sielox AnyWare and Pinnacle software platforms connecting to their 1700 Controller.

Conekt uses Bluetooth to enable communication between smartphones and readers. No personal data is required or collected from the user or integrator, and multiple credentials can be stored on the app. The solution is hardened for cybersecurity as well.

Securing the Upper Township School District

One of the most recent installations of Sielox’s fully layered access control approach to security was at the Upper Township School District (UTSD) located in Cape May County, Petersburg, New Jersey. The school district was presented with numerous viable options of preparing for lockdown situations by upgrading more than 130 locks on classroom and perimeter doors. Installation of the layered security solutions included the Pinnacle access control system for control of interior and perimeter doors and the 1700 Intelligent Controller integrated with the new Schlage NDE wireless locks.

The lockdown solution provides a configurable colour condition indicator for real-time status, as well as updates and notifications to faculty members

An additional layer of security was added using Sielox’s CLASS emergency notification and lockdown solution. The solution provides a configurable colour condition indicator for real-time status, as well as updates and notifications to faculty members, staff and first responders using graphical maps, email and text messaging in the event of an incident or developing situation.

Higher Return on Investment (ROI)

With CLASS, and their vast offering of advanced solutions, Sielox’s portfolio provides a lower Total Cost of Ownership, with a greater Return on Investment (ROI). Sielox lockdown systems and access control solutions have been successfully deployed in numerous verticals, including the K-12 market. They can be custom made to meet the needs and criteria for each deployment and are manufactured in the U.S.A.
