Sielox layered security solutions address the numerous challenges associated with evolving industry needs and the technologies designed to accommodate them,” said Karen Evans, President, Sielox. “By enabling different aspects of different systems to be implemented when and where they are most needed, Sielox provides security professionals with a new degree of versatility without compromising performance.

Aperio wireless tech integration

Sielox recently integrated the Aperio wireless lock technology from ASSA ABLOY with their Pinnacle access control software, 1700 Intelligent Controller, and their CLASS (Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System). Together, these integrated systems provide field-proven, cost-effective, scalable management and control capabilities for safety and security systems. Aperio works with extensive locking hardware options from ASSA ABLOY Group brands, delivering flexibility while simplifying installation and reducing costs.

Sielox is showcasing a new integration for Allegion solutions that provide users and integrators with unprecedented time and cost savings. The new first-to-market integration with networked Schlage locks and Von Duprin devices provides new Over Network Reprogramming (ONR) firmware updates via Sielox’s popular 1700 Controller, eliminating the need for technicians to upgrade individual locks on a door-by-door and site-by-site basis.

Sargent IN100 Aperio wireless locks

Additionally, Sielox is displaying a new integration with its flagship Pinnacle Access Control Platform, 1700 Intelligent Controller and the ASSA ABLOY Sargent IN100 Aperio wireless lock providing real-time, online door control and management, dramatically reducing installation costs.

In addition to the new integrations with Allegion and ASSA ABLOY, the recently released Pinnacle v.10.4 Access Control Platform offers a host of new features including: Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2) that establishes an encrypted communication path between two applications, ‘wrapping’ the entire application protocol inside the secure link; and Pinnacle LDAP Sync Service (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), that simplifies administration by dynamically importing and verifying user and cardholder data through data synchronisation.

Sielox CLASS Emergency Notification and Response Solution

Also on display, the Sielox CLASS Emergency Notification and Response Solution

Also on display, the Sielox CLASS (Crisis Lockdown Alert Status System) Emergency Notification and Response Solution that provides vital emergency status details to responders so they can best manage events.

Administrators or any designated initiator can issue an emergency alert to notify responders of conditions in real time while communicating status via one of five programmable color-coded alert levels.

Two-way communications

Occupants within a facility can then report status at their specific location enabling responders to view detailed facility maps with compiled room-by-room colour-coded conditions that update in real time as the situation evolves. A chat feature enables two-way communications between occupants and first responders to exchange detailed information or instructions.

CLASS can also issue messages with response instructions specific to each alert level via email or text, and override any PC on the network to ensure the highest visibility of alert status.
