Sharry, a workplace experience platform around digital employee badges, continues with its international expansion. After opening several new markets in 2022, the company is entering Belgium at Kortrijk Business Park. Developed by Vesta, Kortrijk Business Park will be equipped with Sharry’s integrated workplace platform, including a tenant engagement app, to make this Class A office space ready for hybrid work.

Kortrijk Business Park was designed to be the new landmark of the economic heart of the South West Flanders region. The building heading Benelux Park offers 18,000 square meters of offices, 276 parking spaces, a restaurant, and a multipurpose room.

Visitor management system

Sharry’s workplace experience platform was deployed at Kortrijk Business Park to meet high requirements set by the landlord regarding quality, sustainability, and comfort for the users. Sharry will make the building smart and future-proof through a white-label mobile app available to all occupants.

The application will contain a digital key to unlock workplaces and all services in the building. The solution also comes with a visitor management system where employees can generate QR codes for their guests to access the building and parking.

This allows for a seamless visitor experience and automates redundant manual tasks. Sharry also provides data insights to make evidence-based decisions and to help navigate property and workplace management in the era of flexibility.

Smart workplace experience

According to the Flanders Office Market Report by JLL, 2021 was the year of the recovery of demand for offices. Sustainability is now one of the biggest challenges for the commercial real estate industry because Flanders aims at carbon neutrality by 2050.

Kortrijk Business Park boasts BREEAM certification and scores very high on the sustainability meter. Sharry further assists with achieving sustainable and ESG goals by allowing buildings to make data-driven decisions about their space.

We’re very excited and honoured to collaborate with Vesta to deliver a smart workplace experience platform for their new headquarters at Kortrijk Business Park,” said David Hartl, Head of Sales and Business Development at Sharry.

This procurement confirms the strong position of our solution which industry leaders are already using in their own offices – like SL Green at One Vanderbilt (NYC), Shapack Partners at 167 Green (Chicago), or Skanska CEE at Spark (Warsaw).”

The motto of Kortrijk Business Park is that happy people perform better,” said Anthony Verstraete, Head of Commercial Development & Innovation at Vesta. “In partnership with Sharry, we are able to increase the comfort of our tenants so they can focus on what counts, their core business.”
