The Security Industry Association (SIA) has opened the call for nominations for the 2022 Women in Biometrics Awards, a globally recognised awards function that is presented by the Security Industry Association, with the support from sponsors - AVISIAN, IDEMIA and SIA’s Identity & Biometric Technology Advisory Board, along with the Women in Security Forum.

The recipients of the Security Industry Association’s 2022 Women in Biometrics Awards will be honoured at the SIA GovSummit 2022, the SIA’s annual government security conference, which is taking place from May 24 to May 25, 2022, at the National Association of Home Builders, in Washington, D.C., USA.

The SIA’s call for nominations comes on March 8, 2022, on International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, and presenting a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

SIA supports International Women’s Day

The Security Industry Association (SIA) supports International Women’s Day and will celebrate the day and its 2022 theme, by encouraging its members and the larger security industry to work to forge women’s equality and to push for support of the #BreakTheBias campaign.
