The KuppingerCole report highlights several of SailPoint’s strengths, including SailPoint’s ability to leverage AI and machine learning capabilities to accelerate application onboarding, assist with outlier detection and remediation, and other purposes.
It also notes that the company uses generative AI to create entitlement descriptions, access recommendations, and distinct roles for different identities.

KuppingerCole calls SailPoint “a pioneering vendor in the IGA market,” noting that the company “has built excellent support for identity and role lifecycle management as part of the IGA solution.” The report also highlights SailPoint’s extensive partner ecosystem for delivering its solution across the globe, as well as its ability to support automatic upgrades through its multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
SailPoint’s ability to provide a wide variety of out-of-the-box provisioning connectors for both on-premises and SaaS systems is also cited as a strength, enabling customers to easily integrate the identity solution with their existing systems and solutions.
