Elatec GmbH welcomes Gerhard Burits to its top management team as the company’s new CFO. The 49-year-old previously gained experience in international acquisitions and growth during his time with Thyssenkrupp Elevator and most recently in the Domoferm Group. With this hire, Elatec is focusing more intensely on global expansion. Thomas Graf, the previous CFO, will focus on Elatec’s digital transformation, automation and IT.

As Elatec’s new CFO, Gerhard Burits is also in charge of accounting, controlling, customer service, purchasing, and legal matters. “I look forward to becoming a part of Elatec and getting to know my new colleagues’ views and ideas. Elatec is a growing company with a great team where I can use my experience to develop new strategies that support this growth,” says Gerhard Burits.

Digital transformation and automation

Stefan Haertel, CEO of Elatec GmbH, adds: “Even in difficult times like these we cannot take a break but want to continue to move forward. This ensures that we can manage this crisis and meet the needs of our customers today and in the future."

"I am pleased to gain additional expertise and capacity with Gerhard Burits, while meeting the wishes of Thomas Graf, who wants to concentrate fully on digital transformation and automation as strategic growth factors. With Gerhard Burits, our management team gains valuable know-how for shaping our international expansion.”
