Press registration is now open for Infosecurity Europe 2021, Europe’s number one information security event, which will run from Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th July 2021 at Olympia, Hammersmith. For the first time the show will be a hybrid event, with a programme that incorporates both live and virtual elements, with selected talks and discussions to be recorded and made available online.

Infosecurity Europe 2021 will bring the cybersecurity community back together once again, with an engaging and inspiring exhibition and conference programme designed to spark ideas and conversations and help to drive the industry forward.

Benchmarking new solutions

Both physical and virtual platforms will be packed with opportunities for participants to:

  • Share knowledge, and learn from the experts.
  • Explore the latest product and technology innovations, and test and benchmark new solutions.
  • Upgrade their skills and develop their careers.
  • Build valuable relationships and drive new business.

This year’s conference, seminar and workshop programme is focused on resilience: the ability to prepare for, cope with, respond to and recover from adverse events. The Keynote Stage will feature three days of inspiring presentations that delve into the biggest issues and newest threats. The speakers will share unique insights drawn from long, distinguished careers spent organisations and helping to protect nations.

Resilient information infrastructure

The three opening keynote speakers will be:

  • DAY ONE: Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller, who headed Britain’s Security Service (MI5) from 2002 to 2007, and now serves on the Lords Select Committee on Science and Technology. In her presentation, ‘Ensuring Business Continuity in an Age of Uncertainty,’ Eliza will share insight on how businesses can become more agile, how to lead when little is certain, and building organisational and personal resilience plus responsiveness to threats.
  • DAY TWO: Misha Glenny – author, journalist and specialist in organised crime and cybersecurity. Glenny has acted as consultant to several European governments and the EU on the Balkans, and advised the US departments of State and of Justice on US-European relationships and on organised crime. Misha wrote the acclaimed book McMafia.
  • DAY THREE: Robert Hannigan, former Director General of GCHQ, and an authority on cybersecurity, cyber conflict and the application of technology in national security. His presentation, Discussing the Rising Nation-State Cyber Activity and its Impacts, will examine the reality of nation-state sponsored cybercrime, and how security professionals can mitigate that risk and develop a resilient information infrastructure.

Rapidly evolving game

Infosecurity Europe’s exhibition hall will once again be the place the industry comes together to do business, with established providers joined by startups and innovative newcomers. For buyers and stakeholders, this is their chance to gather the insight they need to make sound investment decisions and stay ahead in cybersecurity’s rapidly evolving game.

The health and safety of visitors, exhibitors, colleagues and partners is top priority, and Infosecurity Europe 2021 will be run in strict compliance with COVID-19 guidelines to ensure a safe setting and experience for everyone. There will be safeguards and measures in place, based on direction from authorities including the government, WHO, trade and industry associations, and Reed Exhibitions’ own commissioned subject matter experts.
