Promise Technology Inc., developer of open storage platforms for video surveillance, will be at Intersec Dubai 2018 from January 21st-23rd to showcase its latest video surveillance server and storage technology innovations. Promise is enhancing its portfolio of solutions for the surveillance ecosystem with the introduction of a cloud-based solution optimised for video surveillance workloads, new series of network video recorder (NVR) storage appliances, and a personal cloud storage device that integrates an IP camera.

Hyper-converged infrastructure

Promise’s VSkyCube is the latest in hyper-converged infrastructure designed to provide easily-scalable and highly-available computing power and video recording storage to run your surveillance platform. In addition to video recording, VSky’s resources can be used to run additional services such as facial recognition programs, keycard access, and building monitoring systems making it a unified platform for all your security needs. VSkyCube is a cost-effective solution designed to modernise your security infrastructure to meet current and future challenges of your organisation.

A7000 Series for large-scale IP surveillance

Available in Febuary 2018, Promise’s new Vess A7000 Series is specifically engineered for IP video surveillance deployment on a medium-to-large scale (100+ full-HD IP cameras). The Vess A7000 Series is ideally suited for surveillance systems in banks, shopping centres, casinos, factories, and warehouses, as well as commercial, residential, government or private enterprises. The A7000’s subsystems are capable of continuous recording and playback operation without dropping frames.

Promise’s personal cloud device, the simple-to-use Apollo Cloud 2 Duo, now supports IP cameras from multiple brands for non-stop video recording and live stream viewing.  This new feature will enable users to control cameras remotely and watch live footage via the Apollo Cloud App from anywhere in the world via the internet, giving them the peace of mind that comes with the ability to monitor their home inside and out, while keeping the information off public cloud networks.

Partner Pavilion

Promise works very closely with partners from throughout the surveillance ecosystem to offer more integration possibilities – and enable users to design a solution that meets their specific needs. Partner showcases at Intersec Dubai include: Axis, Axxonsoft, Bosch, CNL, Digifort, Hanwha Techwin, Ipsotek, IronYun, ISS, Milestone, SeeTec, and Toshiba.

A portion of Promise’s booth on the show floor will be dedicated to highlighting solutions running with Promise’s open storage platform for IP video surveillance. Additionally, surveillance industry leaders will give presentations covering the hottest trends and products shaping the industry.
