Paxton, the global brand of electronic access control and video intercom systems has announced that its cloud-based access control solution, Paxton BLU now integrates with Ivideon, a cloud-based video surveillance company.
The integration between Paxton BLU and Ivideon allows dealers to provide their customers with a powerful and flexible security solution. The two combined offer centralised management, video verification of access events, and increased system functionality. Users can log into a single platform to view and manage video events through a smartphone, tablet, or PC with internet connection, enabling them to respond quickly to incidents that may occur.

Sites without a local server or network can be hindered by minimal security options; however, Paxton BLU is a cloud-based system that doesn’t require a server or IT support. It’s quick and easy to install, and dealers can expand their RMR customer base (Recurring Monthly Revenue). Paxton BLU’s CCTV integration feature is simple to set-up and manage, allowing users to assign cameras to doors for multiple sites, view past and current events, and share videos or snapshots via email or text directly from the Paxton BLU portal.
Chris Wilson, Paxton’s VP of Operations commented, “We are excited to announce the integration of CCTV within the Paxton BLU platform and are pleased to work with Ivideon as our first partner in this venture. Following customer feedback, we hope they will enjoy having access to video surveillance features from one platform as we continue to make Paxton BLU the dealer’s choice for cloud-based access control.”
