“Orion ECI is committed to providing high quality, aesthetically pleasing customised turnstile solutions and we’ve hit it out of the park with the newest addition to our lineup,” said Orion ECI President and Founder Steve Caroselli. “We’re excited to share the best in entrance control technology with our friends and colleagues attending ASIS.”

Orion will demo the newest addition to its line of turnstiles, the Optical Bi-Parting Full Glass-Extended (OBFG-E). The OBFG-E turnstile has an open and clean look while incorporating Orion ECI’s Beam Scan Optical Detection solution for a superior product. The standard finish features stainless steel, Corian tops, and available 3M bullet resistant film. Glass barrier height can be configured at the waist, chest, or head level for a customised solution.

Partnerships and integrations

ASIS attendees are encouraged to visit Orion Entrance Control, Inc., at Booth 867 to demo the newest products and to view partnerships with technology partners, including:

  • Blue Line Technology, — First Line Facial Recognition, a state-of-the-art camera-based system designed for threat detection, access control, and concierge applications which can be used in conjunction with Orion turnstiles.
  • MorphoWave — Frictionless biometric access control with the wave of a hand. Orion will integrate this technology into its turnstile pedestal ends which will offer an ideal solution for high throughput and performance while maintaining the highest level of architectural integrity blending with the entry’s design features.
  • IBC Barcodes and Readers — QScanT bar code readers will read all forms of bar codes including QR codes and will be integrated into Orion turnstile products.

“Our partnerships with the leaders in security technology allow Orion ECI to integrate the latest and greatest features into our turnstiles,” said Caroselli. “We’re excited to showcase these exciting capabilities with our peers at ASIS.”
