Open Options and Axis Communications have announced the integration of Open Options' DNA Fusion and AXIS A1001

Open Options, an open platform access control and software development company, and Axis Communications, the global leader in network video, announce the integration of Open Options' DNA Fusion™ with AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller.

Open Options and Axis Communications are both proponents of the value of open architecture in access control software and hardware. By integrating DNA Fusion with AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller, the integration provides a non-proprietary, open IP-based complete access control solution that is leading edge and future proof.

DNA Fusion

DNA Fusion is designed with an open platform approach, for the extended enterprise, taking full advantage of the Distributed Network Architecture model. DNA Fusion delivers all the power and features available in a clean and easy-to-use interface, allowing users to monitor several systems through a common interface including audio and IP video recording.

Axis Communications has opened the door for integrations with market-leading access control software providers like Open Options and its flagship access control software product, DNA Fusion.  The AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller is supported by DNA Fusion version 6.6 or higher.
