Oncam will discuss how technology can serve multiple departments within an organisation
Oncam's seminars will focus on the application of 360-degree surveillance technology

Oncam, a provider of 360-degree video capture and business intelligence technology, has announced that it will host three seminars to coincide with IFSEC International 2016, being held June 21st-23rd, 2016, at the ExCel London.

Focused on the retail and education vertical markets, the seminars will feature representatives from both analytics company Video Analysis Solutions (VAS) and education software developer Screen Library, valued Oncam partners that will be on hand to discuss how they’re using Oncam’s 360-degree technology for a variety of real-world applications.

Retail sessions

The first retail-focused session will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. GMT on Tuesday, June 21st. Nigel Ashman, Owner, VAS, will join Oncam’s Vice President of Business Development Scott Brothers in discussing the company’s effort to provide cross-functional solutions using 360-degree surveillance solutions combined with VAS analytics software. They will also discuss how technology can serve multiple departments within an organisation, transitioning from a traditional siloed approach to a more collaborative environment to streamline business operations. Ashman has worked for retailers Clarks and Next, and now works with the retail and IT sectors to provide design custom analytics solutions.

Educational sessions

The educational sessions will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. GMT and 2 to 3 p.m. GMT on Wednesday, June 22nd. Featured presenters will be Andrew Goff, Education and Technology Innovator and Managing Director of Interactive Opportunities Limited, and Dr. Sean Warren, Educational Consultant for Equipoise Ltd. Goff has extensive experience with technology in the education sector, helping schools identify risks and develop solutions that can help enhance safety. Dr. Warren has spent the last 30 years as an educator and consultant in the higher education field. Goff and Dr. Warren founded Screen Library and developed Lesson Capture software, which incorporates Oncam’s 360-degree technology to assist educators in gathering data from classrooms to improve the quality of learning objectives.

"Attendees will gain valuable insight into how business intelligence can be gained using video data and cutting-edge software"

During this year’s show, Oncam will offer a high-level discussion about real-time applications using our technology, and we’ve designed these seminars to engage attendees and deliver enhanced value,” Brothers said. “Oncam has partnered with these organisations to provide our patented 360-degree technology in new and innovative ways that can allow for business optimisation and increased ROI both in the classroom and in a retail setting. Attendees will gain valuable insight into how business intelligence can be gained using video data and cutting-edge software.

Both sessions will be held at the Aloft London Excel Hotel, adjacent to London ExCel.

Valued partners to feature Oncam Technology

During IFSEC, attendees also will have the opportunity to view Oncam’s 360-degree surveillance cameras on the show floor at the following partner booths:
