The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is delighted to announce the NSI Summit will take place on the 22nd March 2018 at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham – NSI approved companies are now invited to book to attend. The Summit, now in its fifth year, has grown from strength to strength attracting hundreds of delegates and exhibitors at the inaugural event at the Vox in 2017.

This year’s Summit theme, ‘Strengthening Partnerships’, celebrates the success of the contribution of private public-sector partnership in delivering improved security over many years and asks how forging even closer working partnerships can build on this for the future.

Latest innovations in electronic security and fire safety

This one-day event offers an exclusive opportunity for NSI approved companies to meet and keep up to date with the latest industry developments, learn about innovations within the electronic security, guarding and fire safety sectors, and benefit from exclusive offers. It promises to be an informative day providing bite-sized sessions presented by high profile speakers, as well as an exhibition where many of the industry’s suppliers and technology companies will be on hand to share their knowledge. The Summit is a valuable and enjoyable opportunity to keep up to date with the latest thinking and innovations in our fast-changing sectors"

The extensive conference programme has been designed with three concurrent elective content streams. The sessions will include a focus on sectors that have particular security systems, guarding and fire safety challenges such as retail and further education, as well as specific sessions featuring case study examples of how the private sector is increasingly working closely with law enforcement. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to gain an insight into specific standards-related updates and to meet with NSI’s technical experts.

Guarding and fire safety sectors

Richard Jenkins, NSI Chief Executive comments, “The Summit is a valuable and enjoyable opportunity for NSI approved companies to keep up to date with the latest thinking and innovations in our fast-changing sectors. This year we are extending a personal invitation to individuals from the guarding services and fire safety sectors as we broaden the content of the event to include all NSI approved companies and industry stakeholders. Our aim is to deliver an enriching experience for all delegates, whatever their areas of expertise and interest.”

We are delighted to be returning to the Vox, an easy to reach, modern venue ideally suited to our delegates, exhibitors, sponsors and speakers,” Jenkins added.
