Nice, a global pioneer in Home and Building Management solutions, announced that it reached a definitive agreement on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024 to sell its Health and Wellness Brand, Numera, a global provider of personal emergency response system (PERS) products, to Malar Group.

This decision to divest from the PERS industry marks a significant milestone in the company’s strategic roadmap to accelerate growth and innovation in North America.   

Whole-home solution

Closing this transaction is a critical step in simplifying the Nice portfolio and strengthening the company’s focus on its core business.

In this next stage of growth, Nice is accelerating its expansion and integration of brands to create a more robust, powerful whole-home solution for its partners and end-users.
