Pelco will also be exhibiting its Optera Series 12MP ‘panomersive’ cameras with panoramic viewing |
Pelco will exhibit at Securika MIPS at ExpoCentre Moscow on Stand B415 from 13th March to 16th March 2016. Pelco will showcase VideoXpert™, the company’s award-winning video management software (VMS) platform launched in 2015 and Optera™, the multi-sensor, panoramic cameras, which provide seamless video images over 180°, 270° or 360° views. The Optera range won the People’s Accolade award at ASIS 2015 in USA.
VideoXpert video management software
VideoXpert™ VMS manages single and multi-site video security systems from a single workspace interface. Its ‘Unified User Interface’ (UUI) allows up to six monitors to function as a single workstation, fully configurable to suit the operator. Pelco has ensured it remains simple and intuitive to use to minimise training requirements whilst ensuring that VideoXpert is able to support limitless cameras and hundreds of operators.
Plug-in architecture enables efficient system expansion through integrations with third-party systems, such as video analytics, ePOS, ANPR, access control and building management solutions, all controlled using VideoXpert’s intuitive UUI. Deployment is on distributed IT architecture, with built-in redundancy and modular, scalable, failover management to maximise system reliability.
Optera panomersive cameras
Pelco will also be exhibiting its Optera™ Series 12MP ‘panomersive’ cameras with panoramic viewing. Optera™ provides seamless video images over 180°, 270° or 360° fields of view, using four, 3MP cameras blended together to act as a single video stream. These ground breaking cameras provide electronic pan, tilt and zoom functionality allowing operators to zoom in on areas of interest to see levels of detail more comparable to a PTZ dome, all of this is available on live or recorded video. Client-side de-warping ensures Pelco’s VideoXpert™ and other third-party VMS solutions see the Optera™ series as a single camera for licensing and video management purposes. SureVision™ 2.0, 130dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), ensures high-contrast and demanding lighting conditions present little problem.
