Alec Conrad joins as senior product manager for signal path offerings, while Bret Leatherwood is the new product manager for infrastructure accessories
New appointments strengthen Middle Atlantic's commitment as AV infrastructure market leader

Middle Atlantic Products today announced two new additions to the company's product management team. Alec Conrad joins as Senior Product Manager for the company's signal path offerings, while Bret Leatherwood is the new Product Manager for infrastructure accessories. In these roles, Conrad and Leatherwood will oversee product development and drive strategies for delivering new, customer-driven offerings in their respective categories.

Meeting installers' needs

"The foundation of any reliable AV system is a solid infrastructure, purpose-built for the job. To meet our installers' needs and deliver the most dependable racks, cabling solutions, and power management solutions, we need product management professionals that understand the customer, the market, and the application inside and out," said Tim Troast, Director of Product Management at Middle Atlantic.

"Alec and Bret bring a wealth of experience and a proven track record that will build upon our history of innovation by solving the challenges that continue to face our customers as the complex world of AV evolves."

Project managers with a wealth of experience

As Middle Atlantic's signal path product manager, Conrad will manage all aspects of the company's connectivity and signal management products. Prior to joining the company, he was the pricing and promotion Senior Marketing Manager at SnapAV. He has also held analyst and sales representative positions for American Tire Distributors and Feldkirtcher/Budnick, Inc. Conrad earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and an MBA from Kent State University.

Leatherwood will oversee product development and programs for Middle Atlantic's unique line of rack accessories, including custom rack shelves, rack lighting, and thermal management. Before joining Middle Atlantic, he served as Product Manager for TV mounts and A/V equipment racks at SnapAV. Leatherwood holds a bachelor's in business administration from the University of North Carolina - Wilmington and an MBA from East Carolina University.
