Matrix, a manufacturer and provider of Telecom and Security solutions, is participating in Securexpo East Africa 2016, Kenya from 8th to 10th November 2016. Matrix will be showcasing its Telecom, Video Surveillance and People Mobility Solution at the event.

Mobile access control

Matrix will demonstrate its range of biometric Access Control solution and its advance applications. Mobile being the next generation technology in terms of security, Matrix will display its “Your mobile is your identity” focused Access Control solution, whereby a user either scans the QR code through mobile or just twists his hand to gain access using Bluetooth. Furthermore, Matrix will launch COSEC DOOR FMX as a high performance door controller with multispectral sensor. The device is powerful enough to take fingerprint of dry, wet, elderly, oily hands. Matrix will present its standalone Access Control solution where one can connect up to 255 devices and 25,000 users, without a server. Additionally, Matrix will be showcasing its Time-Attendance solution where attendance can be marked from hand-held device as well as using GPS/Wi-Fi through mobile.

Streamlining communication

At Securexpo, people will get to know how the range of Matrix VoIP-GSM Gateways can help them streamline communication in their organisations. These gateways are based on SIP (Session Initiation Protocol). The gateways offer superior voice quality, and can be integrated with IP-PBX, TDM PBX, softswitch and hosted solutions. The state-of-the-art routing features make gateways ideal for disaster recovery, remote survivability, SIP trunking and GSM/3G internet access.

Furthermore, Matrix will showcase SARVAM UCS - ‘Unified Communication Server for Modern Enterprises’. This powerful solution enables owners to increase the effectiveness of communication among the employees working at different branches. VARTA WIN200 – ‘The UC Client for Seamless Collaboration’ will also be showcased at the event. VARTA WIN200 offers different features such as Video Calling, Presence Sharing, Instant Messaging and more. Use of this communication solution allows employees to communicate from any place and at any time by using same extension number from the desktop computers.

Enterprise IP video surveillance

Matrix will also display its range of IP Video Surveillance solutions that include enterprise level VMS, NVRs, HVRs and IP Cameras. The entire solution is focused on solving the three major pain areas of customers, namely difficulty in centralised management and monitoring, bandwidth and storage cost and reactive security. Some of their path breaking features that will be on display include Event based Edge Recording and Notification, Adaptive Recording and Compression, Centralised Monitoring and Management, Real-time Notification and Intelligent Video Analytics. These features will help customers understand the difference between a Video Surveillance solution and box moving devices and cameras that are available in the market place.
