Matrix, being a constant exhibitor since last eight years, is all set to follow the legacy by exhibiting cutting-edge telecom and security solutions.

This year, Matrix has chosen Convergence India to launch recent additions made in the Telecom product portfolio. The manufacturing giant will release its first ever purely IP-PBX solution PRASAR UCS and Smart video IP desk phone SPARSH VP710. The communication solution has IP at the core and can support up to 2,100 UC users from a single chassis.

Since the system is designed after studying the needs of emerging enterprises, it addresses requirements such as mobility, multi-location collaboration, single number for multiple devices, safe BYOD environment and seamless integration with multiple applications.

The video IP phone, designed for high-level professionals, is equipped with a seven-inch screen for offering enhanced video calling and conferencing facilities. The phone comes with USB port for making transfer of files an easy task. Moreover, the same port can also be used charging smartphones as well.

The video endpoint is based on the familiar Android interface which eliminates training cost for the same. With Bluetooth pairing feature, users can access smartphone and desk phone features from the same terminal and hence, leverage benefits of mobility.

Biometric to cloud-based access control

In the event, Matrix will showcase futuristic technologies from the security domain as well. The Matrix Access Control and Time-Attendance domain will showcase its newly launched face recognition technology for authentication through mobile. The technology enables contactless authentication with precise and accurate authentication.

Matrix will also present its Standalone Access Control solution where one can connect up to 255 devices and 25,000 users. Additionally, to enhance security, Matrix biometric solutions can be integrated with any video surveillance solution. It will capture real-time images when any pre-defined event occurs.

Furthermore, latest and newly launched Aadhaar based biometric attendance system COSEC VEGA FAXQ, which will be on display, is expected to gain attention as a potential product for government customers.

IP video surveillance solutions

The other wing of Security domain, IP video surveillance, will showcase its video management solution SATATYA SAMAS, which addresses threats in a logical, sequential manner through its unique features like CREAM (Cognitive Responsive Engine with Automated Monitoring). CREAM eliminates false alerts by conducting a multi-stage verification.

Matrix's new IP cameras have an edge over others in terms of exceptional low-light performance, and having a consistent image in varying light conditions

Keeping in mind the need for automation in medium, large and multi-location enterprises, Matrix is going to demonstrate how SATATYA SAMAS can seamlessly automate the parallel working of various systems integrated in an organisation.

Alongside, the company will exhibit network video recorders that are equipped with characteristics like cascading, camera-wise recording retention, database-level integration and plenty of other distinct features.

In addition to this, Matrix will present the new range of IP cameras which sport SONY STARVIS series sensors with EXMOR technology. These cameras have an edge over others in terms of exceptional low-light performance, consistent image in varying light conditions (True WDR), better bandwidth optimisation and many other features.

Convergence India 2018 is an ideal event to meet and discuss business opportunities with industry leading system integrators along with IT and telecom professionals. We aim to have lengthy discussions with them and explain the applications of our solutions,” said Ganesh Jivani, Managing Director.
