Effective July 1st, 2021, Thomas Hilse is appointed Chief Executive Officer of Magirus, the global firefighting equipment business of CNH Industrial. Hilse succeeds Marc Diening, who after the successful turnaround and sustainable repositioning of the company elected to leave the company at this own request to pursue new challenges.

Commercial vehicles industry veteran

Before joining Magirus, Thomas served as the Brand President of CNH Industrial (IVECO)

Thomas Hilse brings with him a strong track record with 24 years of experience in the truck, bus & commercial vehicles industry through various international management positions for different brands in Europe, NAFTA, Latin America and South-East Asia. Before joining Magirus, Thomas served as the Brand President of CNH Industrial (IVECO). He studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration and holds an MBA in International Relations degree.

Thomas Hilse, the new Chief Executive Officer of Magrius, said “I am very excited to take over the leadership of this honourable company with outstanding products, global brand reach and very talented people. We will make sure that we serve heroes as successfully in the future as we have done it since 1864. For me, it is an obligation to continue to put our customer first.
