Assisting crime prevention strategies

KIS has been positively received by the police force as a tool that, through its real-time reporting and data analysis, has encouraged greater collaboration between the security industry and the police. To date the product has been utilised by both clients and the police to assist with crime prevention strategies.

Rob King, Head of Strategic Engagement said, “KIS is a true innovation for the security industry, it enables crime to be reported almost instantly and helps provide the data to analyse potential crime hots spots. We’re delighted to have received Secured by Design accreditation which emphasises the robust functionality of KIS.”

Guy Ferguson, Director of Police Crime Prevention Initiatives said, “KIS as a product supports the principles of the Secured by Design initiative by ‘designing out crime’ through its functionality. Secured by Design works with the industry and test houses to create high level security standards, responding to trends in crime.”
