Johnson Controls, the provider of smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings announces the new IQ Pro, a hybrid panel utilizing the IQ platform and key features from IQ Panel 4, PowerSeries Neo, and customer feedback. IQ Pro will address the needs of commercial, SMB, large residential, campus, and K-12 markets.

The IQ Pro is a true hybrid panel leveraging key features of IQ Panel 4 and the DSC Neo, the most popular products in their respective spaces.” 

Advanced sensor technology

Building on the IQ Platform, the IQ Pro will support PowerG’s advanced sensor technology with a wireless range and an extensive portfolio of life safety and security devices. Additional features include:

  • Corbus support for hardwire keypads, zone and output expansion, power supply
  • Dual SRF featuring PowerG and 319.5 MHZ, 345 MHz or 433 MHz
  • Hardwire and wireless tactile and touchscreen keypad support

  • Easy programming with an intuitive installer app

Commercial services platform

IQ Pro will give installers the flexibility to connect over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, while simultaneously communicating via LTE. The industry’s best Dual-Path connectivity improves redundancy and reliability and integrates with the Alarm.com commercial services platform, delivering best-in-class remote connectivity, management, and access.

IQ Pro refines the commercial category for the Johnson Controls Security Product lineup bringing a flexible architecture enabling future hardware and software innovations and integrations. IQ Pro will be shown at the International Security Conference (ISC West 2022) in Las Vegas at the Johnson Controls booth (#18033). IQ Pro will be available this summer.
