ISONAS, a Pure IP access control system manufacturer, announces a major expansion of its network and engineering team. The security market has changed dramatically and the time for rapid adoption of IP access control is here.

The ISONAS leadership team recognised this unique opportunity and sought out technology professionals who could create new innovative products and services that would not only lead the access control market, but to also become a technology leader in SaaS and IoT. These new engineers build upon an extremely solid foundation of access control knowledge and have elevated access control to a technological position that other competitors will chase for years to come.

Technological leadership team

ISONAS has taken this technological leadership position through a well thought out team structure of SaaS software, firmware development, IP and product quality assurance, and a new CIO. The SaaS team is led by a stellar software architect, Jesse Euton, who has spearheaded the creation and development of the ISONAS Pure access software. Jesse’s team is augmented by a talented Java developer, Kirill Novik, and together with other 3rd party resources have created and released a revolutionary SaaS and on premise access control software that allows for managed and hosted access control.

The firmware team is now being led by what we believe is one of the greatest young talents in the access control industry, Sr. Firmware Engineer Chris Thuss. Chris brings a significant amount of experience from both domestic and international markets. The third leg of the engineering team additions is Ashton Mitchell who brings a significant knowledge of networking, product testing, SaaS modelling and quality assurance. Ashton’s team has elevated the quality of ISONAS released software and hardware product to a world class level.

"Our mission is to enhance the
customer experience at every
touch point and bring products
to market that drive the Pure IP
revolution forward"

Pure Access software

This team of tech savvy engineers have developed the newest products from ISONAS, which includes the entirely new software platform, Pure Access, launched in April of this year. This platform is comprised of a fully hosted platform, Pure Access Cloud, and an on-premise option, Pure Access Manager.

In addition, the team is also responsible for the brand new Pure IP RC-04 hardware family, that is truly the next evolution in Pure IP access control. This next generation hardware delivers advanced technical functionality along with an entirely revamped aesthetic and multiple form factors. This hardware revolutionises the ease of install and the powerful addition of Bluetooth Low Energy capability makes access control hassle free by allowing for the use of a smart phone as a user's credential.

IP access control SaaS model

In addition to the new engineering team, ISONAS has appointed a new Chief Information Officer (CIO), Steve Calderoni. In this addition, ISONAS has further established itself as the leading IP access control with full recognition that their patented Pure IP hardware and software products are IoT devices that are best leveraged in a SaaS model. Steve brings incredible knowledge of networks and best practices for a SaaS platform. He will be dedicated to driving the technical interface with the ISONAS customer to the next level through the deployment, documentation, and support of ISONAS products.

Steve has been instrumental in helping customers experience a smoother transition to the ISONAS Pure IP access control solution by ensuring their network infrastructures are secure and built properly. “This team of experts has been instrumental in delivering our next generation products this year,” states Rob Mossman, CEO at ISONAS. “Our mission is to enhance the customer experience at every touch point and bring products to market that drive the Pure IP revolution forward.”

ISONAS has built the right team of experts in 2016 and the addition of a CIO will push the network expertise to the next level. ISONAS is poised for a strong 2017 and committed to pushing the envelope in access control technology and taking Pure IP to new heights.
