Iris ID, a provider of iris recognition technology, announces its iCAM 7S series enrolment process is now fully integrated with the latest version of the Symmetry Enterprise access control software from AMAG Technology.

Symmetry Enterprise is designed for large organisations with complex security requirements. It supports unlimited card readers, cardholders and clients and allows users to control security from one location. The native integration of the iCAM enrolment process allows users to seamlessly enrol employees for a second layer of authentication at key entry points. The Iris ID system also helps protect employee privacy by storing the biometric data separate from AMAG’s biographic data.

Deliver trusted solution

Iris ID’s iCAM 7S series provides the highest level of speed and accuracy among available biometric technologies. The iCAM enrolment process is quick and simple, taking only seconds to complete. Both irises are acquired, and a face picture can be captured for use on an ID badge. The system is clean and hygienic with its non-contact cameras and readers.

Large enterprise organisations

Mohammed Murad, vice president global sales and business development, Iris ID, said the integration of the iCAM solution with Symmetry Enterprise will help AMAG customers achieve a higher level of security and convenience. “We are excited to work with the Symmetry Enterprise team to create a seamless solution for large enterprise organisations requiring the extra security afforded by two-factor identity authentication,” he said.

The Iris ID iCAM solution is also natively integrated into other enterprise access control platforms including Lenel’s OnGuard, Honeywell’s Pro-Watch and Software House’s C•Cure systems.
