Based on the recent challenges in the airport industry the organiser Mack-Brooks Exhibitions and the partner's GATE (German Airport Technology and Equipment e.V.) and ADV (German Airports Association) agreed to postpone inter airport FOCUS to 2023.

Sustainability

Hence, inter airport FOCUS will take place alongside inter airport Europe in Munich from 10 – 13 October 2023. The concept of the summit to connect governments, the airports, and the industry to hold the necessary discussions in order to achieve the climate targets until 2050 received very positive feedback.

We are all in agreement that the airport industry requires this marketplace. Sustainability is an important topic in the airport industry. This offers a lot of topics for conversation and discussion on national and international levels, especially as part of inter airport Europe next year,” says Nicola Hamann, Managing Director of Mack-Brooks Exhibitions Ltd.

International overview of sustainable solutions

Munich is a place for the airport industry when it comes to the achievement of climate targets for airports until 2050

Nevertheless, the airport industry is facing challenges at the moment, and the postponement to 2023 will allow all participants to gain an international overview of sustainable solutions for the airport and use inter airport Europe as a networking platform for all topics related to sustainability.

With this change, Munich will be a very important meeting place for the airport industry when it comes to the achievement of climate targets for airports until 2050.

Solutions to meet the climate targets

We, the industry, require a platform such as inter airport FOCUS to stay in conversation with airports and the governments."

"In this way, we are able to develop products and solutions to meet climate targets. This is why we are partnering with the event and look forward to Munich in 2023,” says Kay Bärenfänger, President of GATE.
