Following a successful 2018/19 season, iLOQ, the pioneer in the digital locking industry, will continue its partnership with the Champions Hockey League (CHL) also for the 2019/20 season.

Already in its 6th season, the CHL format is continuing to gain in popularity and visibility with almost half a million on-site spectators and almost 6000 hours of broadcast time across Europe. With 32 teams from 13 leagues competing for the coveted trophy, the action kicks off on 29 August.

Standard brand package

Teaming up with the CHL brought brand exposure for iLOQ to key markets in the security industry throughout Europe and allowed the Company to offer memorable experiences to their customers and partners. A focus for last season was also to increase the fan experience.

iLOQ will continue to be the Official Presenter of the CHL app

With digital activation at heart, iLOQ’s partnership with the CHL certainly fulfilled this goal, and the Company will work towards offering more than the standard brand package for fans also for the 2019/20 season. iLOQ will continue to be the Official Presenter of the CHL app. Other digital activations include providing fans with access to pre-game locker room streaming for selected games as well as digital player cards that can be ‘unlocked’.

Continuing successful cooperation

We are executing our growth strategy and expanding our business to new markets and segments across Europe. The CHL offers outstanding exposure to the iLOQ brand across many of our key sales areas, from central to northern Europe, which all hold strong affiliations to hockey.”

We are excited to continue successful cooperation with CHL and help spread the word about iLOQ to a wider audience. iLOQ and the CHL are a perfect match since we both place great emphasis on ambition, teamwork and innovation, which, after all, are the cornerstones of a team’s success,” explains Joni Lampinen, CMO of iLOQ.
