IDIS will be showcasing its end-to-end total surveillance solution encompasses the company’s latest innovations including the IDIS 5MP Super Fisheye camera
The event forms part of the strategy to transform Dubai into a leading city in safety and security

IDIS has announced that it will be a platinum sponsor of this year’s Smarter Dubai Forum for Safety and Security taking place at the Sofitel Downtown Dubai hotel on 20th September 2016.

Following the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Rashid Al-Maktoom, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the event forms part of the strategy to transform Dubai into one of the world’s leading cities in safety, security and systematic developments.  The forum is intended to highlight the role of both the private and public sectors in deploying the latest technologies to realise a secure, safe and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

IDIS solutions

In line with meeting the forum strategy and current market needs, IDIS will be showcasing its end-to-end total surveillance solution encompasses the company’s latest innovations including the IDIS 5MP Super Fisheye camera, a 64-channel real time live and record NVR providing enterprise-level performance at an NVR cost and the enterprise-level video management software, IDIS Solution Suite.

The event will also see Harry Kwon, General Manager of IDIS Middle East and North Africa (MENA), present how the IDIS total surveillance solution is enhancing safety and security for a range of customers globally, while delivering a raft of other benefits through high-performance, rich features and functionality combined with a low total cost of ownership. Kwon will also be part of the panel and moderation team throughout the day’s proceedings, while the IDIS MENA team will be available during breaks to give hands-on and interactive demonstrations.

MENA growth

Harry Kwon, General Manager of IDIS MENA, noted: “It is a great honour to sponsor this year’s Smarter Dubai Forum and support Highness Sheikh Mohammed Ben Rashid Al-Maktoom’s vision of ensuring Dubai continues to be one of the safest and most secure cities in the world.

The forum follows exponential growth for IDIS both globally and across MENA.  Just over eighteen months ago we opened our regional headquarters here in Dubai and have since had some strategic wins and built up a network of partners. This forum will give us further opportunities to build upon our success and demonstrate how IDIS technology can benefit the entire security buying chain.  This event will give us the perfect opportunity to do just that as it brings together a wealth of senior decision makers from across the region and I look forward to welcoming the delegates on 20th September.
