Hikvision, the supplier of innovative video surveillance products and solutions, is pleased to announce that it has won the Detektor International Award for Innovation Achievement award for the iDS-2PT9122IX-D/S DeepinView network PTZ camera.

This is the world’s first ever smart outdoor dual sensor ‘Deep Learning’ camera. Featuring a panoramic lens on the top and a PTZ lens at the bottom, the DeepinView series 2MP + 2MP 10x network PTZ camera is able to capture sharp images of objects both in distant and close-up views. Integrated with the Movidius Myriad 2 Vision Processing Unit (VPU) technology, it can accurately detect, recognise, and analyse human and vehicles ranging up to 40 metres with an accuracy level of around 99%.

The judges said: “With this new network security camera – Hikvision takes technology beyond smart and proves its impressive innovation capability.”
