The raised funds from members of security industry will be used to generate awareness of child poverty in America

Hikvision USA, the North American leader in innovative, award-winning video surveillance products and solutions, recently sponsored a softball game that was held by Mission 500, a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the needs of children and communities in crisis. This event was the first of its kind, bringing together representatives from dozens of security companies.

Held in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey on September 12, the game raised funds from members of the security industry to assist American children living in challenging circumstances.

“This softball game was a new and fun way for the security industry to come together and raise money for needy children in the U.S.,” said George Fletcher, Advisory Council Member/Volunteer for Mission 500. “Our sponsors help us provide aid to those affected by poverty.”

An opportunity to eliminate child poverty in the U.S

Hikvision USA was a platinum sponsor of the event and Sales Director Andy Johannsen played in the game. Alex Asnovich, Director of Marketing for Hikvision USA, also represented the company at the event. Proceeds from the event, which totalled $75,000, will be used to generate awareness of child poverty in America and directly support those in need.

“At Hikvision, we recognise the importance of giving back to our local community,” remarked Jeffrey He, President of Hikvision USA Inc. and Hikvision Canada Inc. “We thank Mission 500 for the opportunity to help eliminate child poverty.”
