HID Global®, a worldwide provider in trusted identity solutions, announced that the company’s iCLASS SE® RB25F fingerprint reader is a winner in the Security Industry Association (SIA) New Product Showcase (NPS) program, announced annually during the ISC West Conference. Recognised in the user authentication, identification, credentialing and management category, HID Global’s fingerprint reader is designed to help fuel broad adoption of biometrics at the door through its combination of credential excellence and globally-patented multispectral imaging technology.

Introduced at ISC West, HID Global’s reader captures and reads fingerprints that other devices cannot by acquiring images from both the surface and sub-surface of the skin. It delivers consistent, best-in-class biometric performance regardless of environmental and skin conditions, and offers superior fraud protection of trusted liveness detection, anti-tamper safeguards, and other security features. It’s HID Biometric Manager™ on-promise software tool is used to configure and manage one or many of the readers and can also be used to securely log all door events.
