Global MSC Security announced that it has been commissioned by the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead (RBWM) to advise and support the procurement of a new high-definition public space surveillance camera system across the whole of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead.
A budget of £1.3 million has been approved by the council for this significant enhancement to its camera system, which includes the replacement of analogue infrastructure with IP wireless transmission and a new stairwell camera system at multi-story car parks at Hines Meadow, Broadway, Stafferton Way and Victoria Street.The new state-of-the-art wireless system will be monitored all day, every day, throughout the year

Cllr Jesse Grey, cabinet member for environmental services (incl. parking and flooding) at the Royal Borough, explains: “We are investing £1.3 million into upgrading our CCTV network as part of our wider commitment to doing what we can to maintain and enhance the safety of residents, visitors and businesses in the borough.”
