Gira, one of the world’s leading full-range suppliers of intelligent system solutions for building management, is pleased to announce Steffen Zimmermann as its new Managing Director. Steffen Zimmermann will reinforce the management of Gira Giersiepen GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Radevormwald, and he will succeed Alfred A. Bulitz, who has retired from the family business after 17 years as Managing Director.

Steffen will develop and manage the Gira supply chain, with a view to secure a new level of commercial appeal and increase production and distributionLike his predecessor, Steffen Zimmermann will be responsible for Gira production and logistics, along with overseeing purchasing, planning and scheduling to formulate and successfully implement company policies and future strategies. Steffen will also develop and manage the Gira supply chain, with a view to secure a new level of commercial appeal and increase production and distribution.

Steffen Zimmermann joins Gira following his tenure at the Dormakaba Group, one of the top three companies of access control and security solutions across the global market.
