Feenics, an Ottawa-based provider of forward-thinking Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) solutions, has announced the availability of the August 2020 update of its Keep by Feenics cloud-hosted access control platform.

Keep by Feenics Aug 2020 update

The August 2020 update of Keep by Feenics features exciting new functionality, including support for single sign-on authentication and scheduled reports.

We are thrilled that our latest update includes features highly desired by our customers,” explained Hanna Farah, Chief Technology Officer at Feenics, adding “The new single sign on capability allows our customers to streamline the user authentication process into Keep, reduces password fatigue, and provides a tighter integration with their backend IT systems.

Multi-factor authentication capability

We’ve also added the ability to automate report generation and distribution"

Hanna adds, “Combined with multi-factor authentication capability enabled through the customer’s backend IT security stack, a single sign-on approach offers a solid one-two punch in combating malicious cyber activity.

We’ve also added the ability to automate report generation and distribution,” Farah continued, stating “Scheduling reports streamlines administrative processes and as a bonus, managers will conveniently have reports automatically routed to their inboxes.

Support for Aperio line of wireless locks

Additional features available with the August 2020 update of Keep include the ability to share access levels from the customer enterprise root instance down through shared instances (tenant) and support for ASSA Abloy’s Aperio line of wireless locks. Lastly, the Keep infrastructure has been updated to run on top of Microsoft’s .Net Core software solution to facilitate better overall system performance and cross platform support.

Feenics continues to fortify its position as an Access Control as a Service (ACaaS) solutions market-renowned firm globally. They are a Mercury Platinum level partner and are certified as an International Organisation for Standardisation ISO 9001:2015-certified company.

FICAM & FIPS-201-2 compliant solution

Keep has been newly certified as a FICAM & FIPS-201-2 compliant solution. In addition, the company recently received a 2020 Platinum Govies Award from Security Today in the Access Control Software/Controllers category.
