Fire Section

Fire section scans and analyses the actions and reviews what the effect of the technologies

The Fire section monitors and analyses the developments and reviews what the impact of the technologies can be. This not only will help members to better understand the topics and their impact but also act as a guide on prioritising the actions and the work regarding standardisation and certification.

Standardisation has been and will be an essential platform for the fire industry. Therefore, the section closely monitors the standardisation and regulation processes in Europe and contributes to a practical balance between regulatory and voluntary requirements while supporting the process for a more agile approach towards standardisation. This cannot be done without valuable partnerships with standardisation organisations, associations, and other stakeholders.

Services Section

While maintaining a focus on established fire and security services, the Euralarm Services Section aims at safeguarding new and innovative services. The Services Section meetings gather experts presenting on actual topics such as the standardisation landscape on fire and security services.

The section liaises towards key standardisation groups and closely follows technological developments to guide regulation and standardisation. Concerning standards, the section continues informing members of changes and advocacy activities at both the national and EU levels.
