WeR@Home combines home automation functions such as smart lighting, thermostats, switches and door locks to work seamlessly with easy-to-install security and safety devices
IFSEC’s increased focus on IoT allowed Essence to showcase what they have been doing for years

Essence, a provider of IoT, cloud-based connected living solutions, will be showcasing its WeR@Home Home Management Platform at the upcoming IFSEC International security exhibition in London to show how service providers can benefit from the new opportunities created by IoT.

Leveraging more than 20 years in the security field, Essence’s end-to-end integrated platform lets security companies and other mass market service providers offer their customers the ability to fully manage their homes’ security, safety, home automation, and energy devices from one intuitive mobile app.

‘Home Automation Product’ area at IFSEC

This year at IFSEC, the event’s organisers have recognised the effect that IoT device connectivity has had on the traditional security industry and has added a Home Automation Product area. This new focus has afforded Essence the opportunity to showcase its unique home automation solution that has for several years allowed security companies and other mass market service providers a platform from which to provide integrated connected home service.

About WeR@Home

Enabled by a wide ecosystem of connected devices, WeR@Home combines home automation functions such as smart lighting, thermostats, switches and door locks to work seamlessly with easy-to-install security and safety devices. Consumers get a whole-home management experience that can be self-monitored from anywhere - with the added peace of mind of optional, professional 24/7 monitoring.

Essence’s WeR@Home Video Management solution provides an extra level of security, with the ability to view the home or office in real time with high definition video over IP

Essence works with partners to continually expand the possibilities, offering new valuable services through integration like “Works with Nest” and HD video monitoring. Essence’s WeR@Home Video Management solution provides an extra level of security, with the ability to view the home or office in real time with high definition video over IP. Customers can also get continuous recording with easily searchable video at a later time – all this from within the WeR@Home mobile application. This delivers providers even more revenue-generating opportunities.

“IFSEC’s increased focus on the expanding world of IoT allows us to showcase what we have been doing for several years,” said Dr. Haim Amir, Essence President & CEO. “We’ve been working steadily with security companies to increase their growth opportunities with more services and expanding customer reach beyond their traditional markets.”

The full capabilities of WeR@Home will be available for demo at IFSEC June 21-23, Excel, London, Booth # C1084. Come see our custom built Connected-Living Demo Room that can be remotely activated form the exhibition floor.
