The BVCA Awards are an annual celebration of excellence for UK businesses backed by private equity and venture capital

Edesix, a global market leader in body worn camera (BWC) solutions, has won a prestigious industry award from the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA).

The company scooped the 2016 Growth Company Team award for Scotland in association with its VC firm, Panoramic Growth Equity.

The BVCA Management Team Awards, produced in association with Grant Thornton UK LLP, is the annual celebration of excellence for UK businesses backed by private equity and venture capital. Now in its eighth year, these awards provide a platform for management teams across the country to demonstrate their vital contribution to the UK economy.

Support and investment in body worn cameras

Richie McBride, Managing Director, Edesix said:

“We are delighted to have won this award, as it recognises those companies which achieve high standards of excellence and are fast growing. I would like to thank Panoramic Growth Equity who have been on the journey with us from the beginning. We could not have achieved our current success without their backing.”

He added: “The support for and investment in body worn cameras technology, globally, has grown significantly in recent years. Edesix has successfully penetrated key target markets, both within the UK and overseas, and the capital injections from Panoramic have allowed us to continue to expand our reach and meet customer demands.”
