At ISC West 2019 (booth #6117), DITEK, global provider of surge protection solutions, is highlighting its DTK-WM4NETS surge protector to demonstrate the importance for all types of businesses to protect security, fire and other networked building systems from power surges and spikes that can damage or destroy equipment and data.

The DTK-WM4NETS is a 4-channel, wall-mount surge protector that uses state-of-the-art circuitry to provide best-in-breed surge protection for shielded Ethernet, PoE and optional PoE extender circuits. It supports data speeds up to 10GbE and provides surge protection grounding to remote devices when used with STP cabling.

The DTK-WM4NETS features a modular design that is ideal for smaller installations where Ethernet cabling feeds require protection before entering network switches. For large and small installations, the unique design also allows for rapid replacement measured in seconds, and the protection modules are the same as the larger rack-mount devices, so one set of spares will support a full range of installations.

Surge protection devices

All businesses – large or small – need surge protection devices to protect them from lightning and short-circuits that can strike at any moment and destroy or cause extensive damage to equipment,” said Anthony Knighton, Field Sales Engineer, DITEK. “The design of DITEK’s DTK-WM4NETS provides our customers with peace of mind when it comes to ensuring that their valuable networked equipment is always safe from power surges.
