On the afternoon of May 9th, 2017, a group of distinguished guests from Belarusian State University and Zhejiang Shuren University visited Dahua Technology, to gain in-depth understanding of Dahua’s engineering establishment and seek cooperation with Dahua. Mr. Michael Chen, Dahua Vice President, General Manager of Overseas Business, hosted the reception.

Led by Mr. Ye Shiping, Deputy Headmaster of Zhejiang Shuren University, this group visited Dahua for a special reason. Mr. Sergey V. Ablameyko, Rector of the Belarusian State University and Academician of Academia Europaea, was visiting Zhejiang Shuren University at that time. He is also a world-renowned expert in the area of image processing. On hearing Dahua’s leadership in video surveillance industry, its outstanding technologies and long-term cooperation with Zhejiang Shuren University, he asked for this special visit.
Mr. Michael Chen warmly welcomed these distinguished guests. He presented Dahua’s latest intelligent security surveillance products and solutions, and accompanied them to visit Dahua Exhibition Hall. Mr. Michael Chen said that Dahua had rich experience in video surveillance, and also dug deeply into advanced technologies like machine vision, big data, AI deep-learning and IoT. During the visit, the guests showed strong interest in AI-powered advanced technologies such as smart video analysis. They were also very much impressed by Dahua's comprehensive end-to-end solutions to serve different industries.

Intelligent video analysis
Mr. Sergey V. Ablameyko also shared his research in image processing area. Both Mr. Sergey V. Ablameyko and Mr. Ye Shiping expressed interest to cooperate in talent development, apprenticeship, academic exchange, and talent introduction.
The visit has promoted mutual co-operation between Sino-Belarussian universities. Dahua believes that such school-enterprise cooperation will enable Dahua to achieve faster advancement in intelligent video analysis, and so provide its customers with more advanced products and solutions of higher quality.
