As part of its commitment to supporting its local communities, Dahua Technology has made two seasonal donations to children’s charities in the UK and Ireland. Dahua asked more than 100 of its top Key Integrator Partners to vote for their charities of choice from a shortlist of five. They voted for Action for Children which received £1,000, and the Irish Youth Foundation which received €1,000.

As part of our commitment to our local communities and giving something back to them, we are delighted to have made these donations to two very worthwhile causes,” said Michael Lawrence, Marketing Director of Dahua UK and Ireland.

Safety and welfare of children

In the context of the negative effects of the pandemic on children’s lives, it is more important than ever to work for the safety and welfare of children and young people. I’d like to thank our Key Integrator Partners for voting for the charities and for all their work and support over the past year.”

Action for Children in the UK protects and supports children and young people by providing practical and emotional care and support, while the Irish Youth Foundation is the only national specifically aimed at helping disadvantaged young Irish people and their families.
