Cybersecurity and DevOps services specialist RiverSafe has appointed Centropy PR to manage its external communications following a competitive pitch process.

Founded in 2010 by cybersecurity experts Suid Adeyanju and Oseloka Obiora, RiverSafe has seen a surge in demand for its services with revenue increasing 395 percent in the last five years. The company, which is based in Canary Wharf, London, has also boosted its staff headcount of cyber and DevOps specialists by 171 percent over the same period, with plans for a further increase of 20 percent over the next three years. Both founders have played a key role in mentoring and calling for more diversity in the industry.

Oseloka Obiora, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, recently addressed the UK Parliament, warning MPs and industry providers about the growing threat posed by the increasing volume of sophisticated cyber attacks. The company’s growth plans come at a time with cyber threats to the public and private sector at an all-time high, with numerous high-profile incidents of successful hacking, phishing, and ransomware attacks making headlines around the world.

Centropy will lead RiverSafe’s comms campaign, providing a full suite of PR servicing including thought leadership, strategic counsel, media relations and content creation.
