Custom Consoles announces its security trade show lineup for 2023. The company will exhibit on Stand 4/B42 at The Security Event (NEC Birmingham, April 25th-27th) and on stand G90 at the International Security Expo (Olympia London, September 27th-28th).

Products on display at both events will include the latest generation SteelBase security control desk, MediaWall video monitor mounting system, and the recently introduced MDesk Technical HA.

The Security Event

"TSE 2022 proved a highly successful show for us, generating a good level of traffic to our stand both in headcount and evident interest in our products among visitors from a wide area of Britain," says Gary Fuller, Sales Manager at Custom Consoles, adding "We chose it as the launch venue for an expanded range of SteelBase options."

He continues, "At TSE 2023 we will be making the first trade show promotion of our MDesk-Technical HA heavy-duty workstation. International Security Expo in September will provide an additional opportunity to meet with existing and potential customers from around the world."

MDesk-Technical HA

A distinguishing feature is a motorised desktop which can be adjusted in height to 125 cm above floor level

MDesk-Technical HA is a heavy-duty workstation providing the features needed for the security and broadcast markets. A distinguishing feature is a motorised desktop which can be adjusted in height from 66 cm to 125 cm above floor level.

This allows individual operators to choose between working while seated or standing and match the desktop height to their exact preference. The total lifting capacity is 400 kg.

Multiple monitor mounting

Like standard versions of MDesk-Technical, the HA version is available with or without PC storage. Free-standing 19-inch desktop pods can be specified at the time of order or added later.

Multiple monitor mounting points are provided along the rear of the work surface. Cables are routed to the desktop cable trays via two energy chains and fed to the work surface through cable ports. Mobile devices can be charged by a desktop induction pad. LED lighting illuminates the front of the base legs.

SteelBase

Designed specifically for security and process control applications, SteelBase gives customers the option of specifying desks from a standard set of modules.

The desks are built around a robust steel frame accommodating a ventilated PC storage compartment. Hinged removable access doors are located at the front and rear.

Cable management

Integral cableways allow heavy-duty wiring to be fully concealed within the desk structure for routine maintenance

Cable management is a central design feature of SteelBase, including a removable worktop section with dual brush strips forming an uninterrupted cable exit for telephones, monitor cables, and computer peripherals.

Integral cableways allow heavy-duty wiring to be fully concealed within the desk structure while retaining easy access for routine maintenance or adjustment. Cables can be routed laterally across and between bays as well as vertically to floor level. Internal 19-inch racking is available as a standard feature. Desktop equipment pods can be specified if required.

MediaWall

One of the most successful product series in the Custom Consoles portfolio, MediaWall is a video and audio monitor support frame system based on horizontal beams and T-slot mounts, fully adjustable to ensure optimal sight lines. Individual or multiple frames can be used in self-supporting mode or coupled directly to the studio wall.

Video displays can be positioned so that the edges meet exactly to form a continuous horizontal display limited only by the screen bezel. Monitor signal and power cables are fully concealed and can enter or leave the structure at any desired point.
