AlliedBarton Security Services, www.AlliedBarton.com, the industry's premier provider of highly trained commercial real estate security personnel, will create a sustainable trade show exhibit at the 2015 Every Building Conference & Expo, presented by BOMA International and Buildings Magazine. The furniture used for the exhibit booth will be donated to U.S.VETS, the nation's largest non-profit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. AlliedBarton, a Premier Gold Sponsor, will be exhibiting at Booth #1001 at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 28-30, 2015.
Large furniture donation
"We are honoured to support the great work of U.S.VETS-Los Angeles, an organisation that works tirelessly to facilitate the successful transition of veterans and their families to civilian life through comprehensive support for housing, counseling and career development," says Mike Coleman, Vice President, Commercial Real Estate, AlliedBarton. "Following the trade show, the new furniture we utilise in place of a traditional trade show booth will be donated to U.S.VETS-Los Angeles. This is our tenth consecutive BOMA show where we've been able to support a non-profit organisation with a large furniture donation."
"U.S.VETS greatly depends on the support and generous contributions of our corporate partners," said Ivan Mason, Executive Director, U.S.VETS-Los Angeles. "Thanks to AlliedBarton's donation we are able to serve more struggling veterans in need of counseling, job placement, employment assistance and housing."
The 2015 BOMA international annual conference & expo
The 2015 BOMA International Annual Conference & Expo is commercial real estate's most important event of the year. This collaborative meeting brings together the best minds in the industry for more than 50 expert-led sessions across six education tracks on topics ranging from asset management strategies to best operational practices for office, industrial and mixed-use properties. At Monday's General Session, "The Revitalisation of Downtown LA," a panel of experts will discuss the driving forces behind Los Angeles' downtown renaissance and how other downtown districts can follow the city's successful revitalisation model. The conference also will feature a performance by one of most recognisable entertainers in the world, Jay Leno, who will kick off the Sunday General Session.
